CW PLATFORMS IS BASED ON 3 MAJOR MODULS

CW Configurator

CW Configurator is single program used to configure the overall system. It has an integrated protocoals, logic capabilities,  and GUI editors for built a rich function and user experiences.

Server Platform

Server Platform function as the logic engine for the system. It provides all IO and logic function configured by the CW configurator.

Operator Platform

Operator platform is the HMI/ operator interface of the server platform.

SYSTEM FEATURES

The CW suite is an integrated automation platform designed to combine the PLCs, HMI, and Edge devices. The simplification in configuring, verification and testing the system is central to the CW Platforms architecture.

Reuseability

CW Platforms is based in a hierarchical bottom-up approach, featuring Devices, Templates, and Systems as the main hierarchical components. As a result, CW Platforms is rich with a prebuilt library of feature-rich modules. Furthermore, all separate modules can be individually tested and reused in subsequent layers of the CW Platforms hierarchy and individual projects, fronting a “Design Once, Deploy Anywhere” style of configuring.

Historian

The Historian of CW Platforms logs all events in a system and stores to the database. History logs are browsable and can be exported.

Reporting

Reports can be configured and generated in CW Platforms. The configurator can choose variables to report, auto-generate graphs based on input data.

User management

CW Platforms contain functionality for user management. The system is designed with a system-specific number of groups, with unlimited user profiles in each group. Access to separate views and action control is managed based on group tiers. In addition, all actions performed in the CW Platforms control system are noted with the user who acted.

Alarm management

CW Platforms allow the configurator to define alarms and trigger conditions. Alarms can be directly linked to interlocks and provides both visual and auditory feedback. All alarms are stored in the database for historic use.

Trending

The Trending capabilities of CW Platforms allow the operators to trend data in the system in both real-time and historic. The trender gives an easy-to-use interface with a hierarchical system overview. In addition, the trender allows for storage to known file formats such as .PDF for easy extraction.
